SATIB clients receive an annual subscription to the Tourism Tattler Trade Journal - a quality bi-annual magazine that keeps you up to date on issues that impact on the tourism trade within Southern Africa.
SATIB regularly print informative booklets on risk and insurance issues. Copies of these booklets can be requested by clients for distribution to their staff or by tourism related associations for distribution to their members.
License disk holders are hard to come by so SATIB have printed their own which are available to clients on request at no extra
charge.
SATIB provides their clients with an innovative ‘Tourism Insurance Compliant – SATIB Certified’ seal of approval logo, which is available on request for use on marketing material. The website version of the logo has a ‘mouse-over’ pop-up window that testifies to the fact that your company’s insurance complies with minimum tourism industry requirements and with the EC Directive on Travel Trade Act.

SATIB clients can purchase subsidised emergency medical bags that contain level
3 first-aid items.
SATIB24 is a value-added service attached to all client insurance policies to assist
in managing emergency incidents. It consists of access to a team of experts for
incident management services and additional financial cover for defined expenses
that may be incurred.
As a service to clients, SATIB can facilitate domestic insurance cover as well as
home owners, householders and personal use vehicle insurance.
SATIB can also facilitate commercial insurance cover for clients non-tourism related
business ventures.
SATIB clients are afforded free risk assessments undertaken by TRMA fire specialists
wherein mandatory compliance requirements are recommended which, if applied, would
result in favourable premium ratings.
Wildlife Risk Management (+)
SATIB clients are afforded advice on risk management issues pertaining to the breeding
and translocation of wild animals through its specialist Wildlife division.
