The following features are unique to Safari & Tourism Insurance Brokers (SATIB) and apply to all the
relevant products featured in the preceding pages of this brochure.
Territorial limits
SATIB can offer cover with territorial limits for most Sub-Saharan African Territories.

Worldwide (including Canada / USA - available on request).
Currency options
Indemnity cover limits are available in either South African Rands, United States Dollars or other local currencies on request.
Competitive rates
Rating structures that take into account your previous claims history and your risk management procedures.
Premium flexibility
The flexibility of structuring premium collection to suit your company's seasonal cash flow requirements through monthly debit order payments (South Africa only).
Security
SATIB seeks security and stability in underwriting and reinsurance markets through the placement of risks at selected syndicates at Lloyd's of London and various approved local market insurance underwriters.
Sum insured
Sums insured on your vehicles and assets can be on an “agreed value” basis (market related replacement value) written into the insurance
contract. An inflationary percentage increase on your assets can also be arranged - thereby ensuring that you always remain adequately insured.
Claims mandate
In the event of an accident or loss, SATIB has a claims settling mandate from certain underwriters, which allows swift and efficient claims authorisation and settlement of losses.
All subcontractors
Products are available that extend cover to any service providers subcontracted as per the terms and conditions of the policy.
Efficient service
SATIB has branch offices throughout South Africa and in Botswana and Zambia, as well as correspondent offices in Kenya, Mozambique,
Namibia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, through SATIB Africa. SATIB's risk management division, TRMA, has a competent team with access to fire experts, loss adjusters, legal advisors and motor surveyors, which enhances our efficient service.
